Responsibilities
- Financial accounting, control of project funds and budget management;
- Checking receipts, invoices and payment transactions in accordance with the financial guidelines of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (rules for public procurement);
- Coordination and communication with the bank, tax consultants and other service providers;
- Supporting the project management in daily operations;
- Preparation of financial reports and proof of utilisation for the donors.
Requirements
- Training in accounting/finance or studies in business administration, economics or related disciplines; alternatively comparable knowledge, skills and experience;
- Good computer skills;
- Good knowledge of German and English;
- Knowledge of French and/or Dutch is an advantage;
- Ability to work independently and autonomously;
- Flexibility and strong ability to work in a team.
