We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Global Business Development Manager to join our Agfa Synaps team. In this role, your key responsibility is to develop Synaps business at a global scale. You will conduct extensive market research and analyses, develop strategic business plans, set goals and timelines to ensure tangible growth of the Synaps business. This role requires a strategic thinker with proven track record in business development and understanding of the print media market.
Key Responsibilities
Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify new global business opportunities and market trends.
- Analyze the competitive landscape and develop strategies to differentiate Agfa Synaps products.
Sales and Business Development:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive global business development strategy to achieve sales targets.
- Identify and engage potential customers, build a robust sales pipeline, and convert leads into sales.
Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry influencers.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences in the sector to network and promote Agfa Synaps products.
Product Positioning:
- Conduct competitor position analysis and develop value propositions for the product line.
- Enhance brand awareness and implement strategies to attract new customers.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Track and report on sales performance, market trends, and business development activities.
- Provide regular updates and insights to senior management on business development progress and opportunities.
Profile
- Master’s degree in Business Engineering, Economics, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or a related role, preferably in the print media or related industry.
- Proven track record of achieving business growth in an international environment.
- Experience in strategy creation and/or implementation.
- Excellent business sense, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Fluent in English. Any other language is a plus.
