We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Global Business Development Manager to join our Agfa Synaps team. In this role, your key responsibility is to develop Synaps business at a global scale. You will conduct extensive market research and analyses, develop strategic business plans, set goals and timelines to ensure tangible growth of the Synaps business. This role requires a strategic thinker with proven track record in business development and understanding of the print media market.

Key Responsibilities

Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify new global business opportunities and market trends.
  • Analyze the competitive landscape and develop strategies to differentiate Agfa Synaps products.

Sales and Business Development:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive global business development strategy to achieve sales targets.
  • Identify and engage potential customers, build a robust sales pipeline, and convert leads into sales.

Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry influencers.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences in the sector to network and promote Agfa Synaps products.

Product Positioning:

  • Conduct competitor position analysis and develop value propositions for the product line.
  • Enhance brand awareness and implement strategies to attract new customers.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Track and report on sales performance, market trends, and business development activities.
  • Provide regular updates and insights to senior management on business development progress and opportunities.

Profile

  • Master’s degree in Business Engineering, Economics, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or a related role, preferably in the print media or related industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving business growth in an international environment.
  • Experience in strategy creation and/or implementation.
  • Excellent business sense, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Fluent in English. Any other language is a plus.
