As the IT Network Operations Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of day-to-day operations of our network infrastructure across the EUR Zone. You’ll be driving key initiatives like network automation, leveraging the latest CISCO technologies, and integrating advanced monitoring tools with ServiceNow to enhance our operational capabilities. Your role is critical in ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our cutting-edge network systems. You’ll manage cost, budget, and vendor relationships, ensuring efficient network operations. This is an opportunity to make a real impact within a fast-paced, multicultural, and virtual organization spread across Europe and globally. Your leadership will be essential as you collaborate closely with internal stakeholders—including the Network Team, Service Desk, IT Operations Managers, and key business contacts—as well as external vendors.

The role scope:

  • Network Infrastructure Management: Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of network operations, ensuring continuous availability and performance of the network;
  • Automation & Monitoring: Identify opportunities for automation, integrate advanced monitoring tools into ServiceNow;
  • Team Collaboration: Coach junior members of the team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across departments;
  • Capacity Planning & Vendor Management: Regularly assess network capacity and work closely with internal & external teams/vendors to meet organizational needs;
  • Incident & Problem Management: Lead incident response, leveraging advanced monitoring tools, and conduct root cause analysis to prevent future issues as well as implement corrective actions;
  • Budget & Change Management: Manage the network operations budget and control change requests with a focus on compliance and cost-effectiveness;
  • ServiceNow Integration: Drive the integration of network monitoring tools into ServiceNow, enhancing our monitoring capabilities and incident response efficiency;
  • Vendor Management: Manage and align internal and external teams, ensuring delivery according to SLAs and cost agreements.

Who we’re looking for:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree with preference in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related;
  • Technical Expertise: Advanced knowledge of Cisco technologies, network automation, and integration of monitoring tools with ServiceNow. Familiarity with ITIL standards and industry certifications like CCNA or equivalent knowledge, CCNP is a nice to have;
  • Behavioral Competencies: Leadership skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural environment;
  • Fluent English in speaking, reading and writing. Knowledge on additional Western European languages (German, French, Dutch) is a plus;
  • Experience in Information Technology Operations is an advantage;
  • Understanding IT outsourced model;
  • Advanced level usage of Microsoft softwares (Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Visio, Teams);
  • Driving license.
