Your role
As the Head of Digital Programmes within our Global Digital Strategy & Transformation team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive Digital programme strategy that aligns with our business objectives, drives innovation, and leverages the power of technology & data to steer business decision, efficiencies and unlock new sources of revenue. You will be leading a team of Digital Product Owners each responsible for a well defined part of our digital landscape (eg. Customer CRM, Customer Portal,…). You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, establish an operating framework with business functions, and champion a Digital mindset and data-driven culture. You will play a critical role in shaping our organisation's Digital future and driving innovation across our different business lines, our Central and Local teams and the different functions.
Your key responsibilities
- You will develop and implement the digital transformation roadmap to bring the digital maturity at the next level, aligned with our organizational goals and objectives in close collaboration with the Business Process Owners and the Digital product owners;
- You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, to gather requirements and ensure alignment of objectives with the ultimate goal to have an integrated digital programme with the strategies of the business functions. You will establish digital collaboration with suppliers to enable stronger, more collaborative relationships, resulting in improved efficiency, reduced costs, and enhanced agility;
- You will translate the global strategy into a multi-year digital plan and ensure execution, adoption and change management to achieve Business results;
- You will participate in cross-functional budget and roadmap planning with BPO’s and IT;
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the market and the competition in the Food Industry is a must;
- You will monitore continuity agreements and the life cycle of our digital assets as well as manage relationships with external partners and vendors. You will communicate the business values of our Digital products to the internal and external stakeholders, ensuring proactive and ongoing alignment. You will also align with the BPO colleagues to ensure maximum consistency across portfolios;
- You will eliminate (non-technical) obstacles, escalating problems to the right level;
- You will build a Digital Product Owner organisation to drive digital products within the different areas of the business:
- Employee selection and recruitment;
- Team coaching and development;
- In partnership with the Digital Product Owners, synchronise and constantly adapt the vision of the asset portfolio and initiatives;
- Integrate the necessary actions into the schedule with a view to ensuring application performance and stability;
- Provide functional guidance to the delivery teams.
- You will be working closely with the IT department to build the long term as well as the yearly IT roadmap in line with the programme strategy, to ensure that the necessary resources and support are available for all IT teams.
Are you the one we're looking for?
- You have min. 10 years of management experience, with strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and guide a team of Digital Product Owners;
- You have a Master’s degree in a relevant field such as computer science, information management, or a related business discipline;
- Thanks to your excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, you can analyse complex data and make data-driven decisions;
- You have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. In this way, you motivate, drive and engage the different stakeholders, often with different requirements, and are able to get their buy-in. You are on the other hand also customer oriented and able to convince external parties (at senior management/directorate level) with your excellent diplomacy and negotiation skills;
- You have strong business acumen and the ability to align Digital initiatives with the strategic goals of the organisation;
- You have experience in setting and achieving objectives, setting priorities in complex environments, management reporting and communication, cross-departmental collaboration, and process improvement;
- You are creative in applying technology to solve concrete problems, both strategically and tactically;
- You have an entrepreneurial spirit, an eye for detail and think in both the short and long term combined with out of the box thinking.
