Description

Nike is looking for a Strategic Planning Lead for our European Logistics Campus (ELC) in Laakdal. In this role you are responsible to drive the creation & deployment of the ELC strategy & EMEA service network design, so that our employees are inspired to realize the vision & know their contribution. This strategy is anchored in consumer & market insights and provides flexible, responsive solutions to serve our consumers. You align and integrate a cross-functional approach and solution. You connect extensively with stakeholders throughout the organization and externally. You support the leadership team in developing and cascading their strategies. Finally, you drive a structured framework that includes periodic reevaluation of marketplace & business growth and revalidation of the strategic recommendation. You will report into the Logistics Center of Excellence

READY:

  • Strategy design - Actively searching for internal and external trends (consumer, market, competition, fulfillment solutions) & feed the organization with insights. Drive and align the organization towards the vision and strategy;
  • Networking - navigate an extensive network of internal and external relationships to understand strategies & perspectives. Drive the creation and review of the strategy/network design;
  • Communicate the vision and strategy in the organization & translate in identified initiatives and align priorities in an agile way;
  • Provide strategic deep dive analyses for strategic initiatives and special projects;
  • Own the strategy review process and drive the agile deployment.

Qualifications

SET:

  • Master degree required, MBA preferred;
  • At least 4 years’ experience in strategy consulting, preferably at BCG, Bain, McKinsey, Deloitte or likewise. Experience in FMCG, E-commerce & Retail market;
  • Demonstrated ability to complete quantitative and qualitative analysis. Quantitative consumer and market research experience preferred;
  • Strong connection to Supply Chain & Operations. Driven to create the Supply Chain of the future;
  • Experience in working an agile organization or going through an agile transformation is a plus;
  • Proven ability to coordinate the activities of cross-functional teams and work based on agile principles;
  • Ability to work with high degree of independence while managing upward communication to executive leadership teams and management;
  • High tolerance for ambiguity;
  • Superior writing, communication, interpersonal and presentation skills in English;
  • The ability to regularly travel to Nike’s EHQ in Hilversum, Netherlands, or WHQ in Portland, Oregon.
