Job description

As Global Product Marketing Manager for our business unit Digital & Computed Radiography you will define the short & long term sales and marketing strategy of the DR/CR portfolio. You are a key contributor to the DR market knowledge by gathering and mapping competitive market intelligence. Furthermore you will coordinate the marketing process and define and launch new offerings in alignment with Agfa’s go to market strategy.

This global role will report to the Head of the BU Digital & Computed Radiography, based in Mortsel-Antwerp (BE). More detailed, within this position you:

  • Monitor current and future market needs in close cooperation with the Sales and Services organization and the Business Strategy team;
  • Maintain and innovate the solution roadmap based upon finding of market analysis and client information by assessing competition activity to identify needs, opportunities and trends within existing, adjacent and new market segments;
  • Lead marketing actions for a product line, starting from identification of needs to product development in alignment with the marketing process;
  • Design, propose and implement marketing strategies, guidelines and processes in order to meet the offering requirements, taking into account the short and long term business needs;
  • Collaborate with a wide variety of internal functional areas such as Presales, (after) Sales teams, Strategy office, R&D, Production, Regulatory, and also with external sources;
  • Ensure that corresponding strategies are formulated, built, approved and communicated effectively;
  • Coordinate the development of marketing plans for the Agfa Healthcare brand in DR, including pricing strategies;
  • Partner with the Product management team to deploy the marketing strategies into implementable sales plans. You play an active role the development of new products, you can influence design and offer product enhancements as needed.

Your profile

  • You have a master degree in marketing, sales or business development or equal by experience;
  • Prior experience in product management or a development role leading product definition or services marketing activities are key for this challenging position;
  • You show strong expertise in market analysis, market segmentation, product/services development process, product/services roadmap planning, requirement definitions, customer communication and product/service life-cycle management;
  • Proven track record of developing/leading go to market strategy development and execution;
  • Knowledge of Imaging Equipment and a clinical background represent a great advantage;
  • You demonstrate good balance between strategic thinking and operational efficiency;
  • You have relevant experience in a large, multi-site, matrix and international environment, preferable in the Healthcare Industry;
  • You are able to work collaboratively with multiple cross-functional teams in a globally distributed organization;
  • You are persistent and an excellent change agent;
  • You are result driven and a decision maker;
  • You have strong relationship building skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse personalities;
  • You are entrepreneurial, open, hands on and diplomatic;
  • You communicate fluently in English, any other language is an asset;
  • You are willing to travel (30%).
