  • Manage, coordinate and stimulate a team;
  • Official contact point with the institution;
  • Preparation of and participation in operational meetings regarding the specific service to be provided (technical committees, steering committee etc.);
  • Planning of the team activities, assignment of tasks etc.;
  • Follow-up, reporting on all activities of the team; escalation whenever necessary;
  • Quality control as well as respect of the deadlines;
  • Control adherence to the standards, procedures and recommendations of the department;
  • Ensure continuity of the service;
  • Apply corrective measures;
  • Propose improvement of service or organization.


  • ICT related University degree (minimum 4 years post-secondary education) with minimum 8 years experience in IT, or non university/IT degree with minimum 16 years experience in IT;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as SAP Architect;
  • Strong and proven knowledge in: UNIX, DATABASE environments, understanding of network concepts,
  • Strong and proven ability to advise architectures, understand security, analyze errors with systems, etc.;
  • Experience with Business object will be a big plus;
  • Experience in a similar position (team leader, project manager, project leader for complex security related projects, etc.);
  • Proven experience in team management in an environment similar in size and activity to the service and team to be managed;
  • Proven experience in coordination and management of projects relevant to the service to be provided;
  • Proven experience in implementing and following quality procedures;
  • Experience of ICT good practices and standards;
  • Excellent coordination and managerial skills (technical and administrative) for the activities of his team(s). Ability to act as the official contact person with the services of the institution;
  • Excellent ability for guaranteeing the timely delivery of the service requested from his team(s);
  • Excellent ability to produce adequate periodic reporting to the managers on the activities of the team, its members and himself;
  • Very good capacity to monitor and guarantee the quality of the service as well as adherence to standards, procedures, deadlines and other recommendations of the organization;
  • Very good ability in ensuring the continuity of his team(s) and organising adequate replacements in case of absences that might affect the service provided;
  • Very good sense of responsibility in preparing and taking part in periodic status meetings with the representatives of the institution and proposing corrective actions when necessary;
  • ITIL Foundation and SAP HANA certifications are required for the position;
  • Fluent in French and English is a requirement, both written and spoken (B2 level min. in one of them, C1 level in the other).
