Your role

The Junior International Category and Brand Manager will define and implement the international product and brand strategy, based on central plans, to drive value to the professional customers and operators. You will provide category insights and proposals by analysing marketing & customer data and monitoring relevant market trends. You will act as an international brand guardian and are in the lead of all activities related to international brands. From innovation to brand plans, you strive for profitable business growth in the plant-based cheese category.

Your key responsibilities

  • Develop international category strategy based on central growth plans;
  • Connect to international channel marketeers for Industry and Food Service to align on go-to-market strategies & translation of the strategies towards the sales team (product expertise);
  • Define need for innovation and provide input on category innovation in alignment with all business stakeholders;
  • Screen reactive innovation requests – make recommendations towards R&D;
  • Monitor competitors' activities, and transform observations into actionable insights;
  • Develop international brand activations based on central guidelines & local needs (events, content…);
  • Develop international communication assets to be rolled out on all touchpoints;
  • Lead potential fairs implementation – (branding, logistics, communication, coordination,…);
  • Analyse & monitor category performance;
  • Support with lead generation for new business development.

Are you the one we’re looking for?

  • You have a master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field and about 2 years' experience in B2B and B2C Food Marketing;
  • You are passionate about good, tasty food;
  • You are an entrepreneur and have strong business acumen;
  • You hold a customer/consumer-centric mindset;
  • Ability to guide and coach projects cross-functionally, ensuring alignment on category plans;
  • Data-driven, you bring optimizations based on fact-based analysis;
  • Extensive project management for implementation excellence in execution of the international category plans;
  • You embrace change in pursuit of continuous growth for the organization, acts as a catalyst for accelerating on strategic key projects;
  • Excellent communication, presentation and convincing skills in English. Knowledge of other languages (e.g. German, French, Spanish, etc) is seen as a plus;
  • Great stakeholder manager, you analyze the needs of the different teams (sales, R&D, …) and make well-thought decisions;
  • Great team player, and strong networker. You enjoy a cross-functional way-of-working, and bring people together behind a vision;
  • Knowledge of database management tool such as Nielsen, GFK, IRI, … is considered an asset;
  • Basic digital skills (paid media, content, …).
