As VIE Junior Brand Manager you will support the Brand Manager & Country Marketing Manager in the development and implementation of the marketing plan of the brand. You will contribute to the development of the annual marketing plan (strategy, action, means and budget) and make proposals to strengthen it.
Working in close collaboration with the cross-functional team, you will develop the business plan by ensuring the operational monitoring. Knowing the product range will be crucial to ensure its operational management. You will be asked to take the lead on and be responsible for the activations and execute them with excellence, respecting the timing and the budget. Additional responsibilities will be the performance of analyses on key activations in terms of sales and return on investment as well as monitoring and respecting the A&P budget.
You will contribute to the development of a media strategy, develop the briefing and challenge the recommendation in collaboration with your manager.
Based on the analysis and interpretation of consumer and distributor panels, you will work on actionable recommendations (GFK/Nielsen). Analyzing and understanding competitors’ performance is another key task within this role.
Finally, you will contribute to the monitoring of the quality of the product.
We are looking for a candidate with a master’s degree in marketing or international business management with a first experience in Marketing and a real passion for the FMCG and food industry. Being a team player is essential for this role as well as excellent interpersonal communication skills to ensure effective communication with team members and various stakeholders. We value an autonomous and rigorous profile having a proactive approach and being able to work under pressure within strict deadlines. The position requires good analytical skills and high attention to details. Previous experience with household panels and consumer data such as Nielsen & GfK is appreciated. Proficiency in English and French is a must, Dutch would be an additional asset.
