Role Definition

You support HR processes with a focus on reporting, project management and continuous improvement.

You support the customers of the HR team in the Caterpillar Distribution Center in Grimbergen (Belgium).

Responsibilities

  • Ensure operational excellence in HR by accurately supporting employment compliance, payroll, absence management, time tracking, total rewards administration, and employee data management;
  • Deliver excellent customer service through understanding business needs;
  • Develop expertise in HR operational processes;
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness;
  • Gather, analyse and report HR operational metrics to support data-driven decision making.

Degree Requirement

  • Bachelor's or Master's in business or organizational management, or equivalent experience.

Required Skills

Service Excellence

  • Understand customer service concepts and techniques;
  • Meet or exceed customer needs and expectations;
  • Integrate automated solutions in HR services using the latest technology.

Business Process Improvement

  • Know best practices for business process improvement;
  • Identify, evaluate, and implement more efficient business approaches;
  • Suggest ways to reduce variation and waste in processes;
  • Participate in requirements analysis for process changes.

HR Policies, Standards, and Procedures

  • Understand HR functions;
  • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures;
  • Provide feedback for improving HR procedures.

Human Resources Operations

  • Implement HR tasks, processes, and projects to ensure smooth day-to-day operations;
  • Assist in training sessions related to HR processes and systems (HRIS, Time registration);
  • Document routine workflows, resource requirements, dependencies, and criticalities;
  • Record all HR data and transactions in HRIS;
  • Generate and interpret standard and management reports on HR activities.

Data Analytics

  • Collect data from various sources and document it for trend and activity evaluation;
  • Prepare charts, graphs, tables, and other tools to represent data analysis results;
  • Research, analyze, interpret, and present business-related data to management;
  • Use designated data analysis software to analyze data.
