Job description

This role collaborates closely with the EMEA CFO and Functional VPs to enhance financial performance and guide strategic decisions for a turnover of 900 M€. Acting as a vital link between finance and operational leaders, the role ensures alignment on financial objectives, budget management, and business strategies. It fosters a performance-driven culture across all functions, providing the necessary tools and analyses to empower and hold each management level accountable.

This position is based at our HQ in Brussels with a team of 8 reports.

Responsibilities

Provides leadership and coaching for direct reports to maximise performance, quality & value-added work;
Develop a solid understanding of Aliaxis business model and industry to use this knowledge to provide an independent perspective;
Lead performance through metrics and key performance indicators;
Ensures consolidation of reports, budgets & forecasts for submission to the divisional CFO & CEO;
Provides leadership in monitoring the EMEA’s revenues, fixed/variable costs, cash management, capital expenditure & profitability.

Requirements

Degree qualified in Accounting/Economics or a related discipline;
Strong experience in leadership role, managing a team in the manufacturing sector and in multinational companies;
Senior relevant business experience; with contemporary knowledge of international financial practices & standards, ideally in a manufacturing environment;
Demonstrated excellence in finance, accounting, budgeting, control, and reporting;
Experience providing critical input to the leadership level and other members of regional/country level management regarding the financial performance of the company, including actions related to plan;
Fluent in English – any additional European language is a plus.
