As an HR Business Partner, you play a key role in ensuring compliance, optimizing Compensation & Benefits processes, and managing various HR projects. Additionally, you serve as the first point of contact for managers and employees regarding HR-related matters.
Responsibilities
- Compensation & Benefits:
- Provide advice and support in developing and implementing reward strategies;
- Coordinate and manage local annual performance review and reward activities in partnership with the global HR team;
- Conduct benchmarking and analysis of salaries and benefits to maintain market competitiveness;
- Ensure correct application of C&B policies;
- Serve as HR contact with Payroll function.
- Compliance and HR Policies:
- Monitor compliance with regional labor laws and HR regulations;
- Update and implement company guidelines and HR processes in line with Belgian and European legislation;
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to HR compliance.
- HR Projects:
- Lead and participate in strategic and operational HR projects (e.g., process optimization, digitalization, function classification, …);
- Manage stakeholders and collaborate with other departments to achieve project goals.
- First Point of Contact for the Business:
- Act as a sounding board and advisor for management and employees on HR-related topics;
- Support change processes such as reorganizations, performance management, and team development;
- Address and resolve daily HR issues and escalate when necessary;
- Serve as back-up for the HRBP in our Manufacturing Competence Center located in Erpe Mere.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field;
- At least 5 years of relevant experience as an HR Business Partner, preferably in a hi-tech and/or international organization;
- Proven experience with Compensation & Benefits and a strong understanding of labor laws and regulations.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of HR data and processes;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Persuasive with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships;
- Results-oriented, proactive, and capable of independently managing projects;
- Flexible and resilient in a fast-changing work environment.
