Job Description

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll drive month-end closures, ensure accurate reporting, and collaborate with the finance community to implement best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead month-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely group reporting;
Enhance financial processes through standardisation and automation;
Collaborate with EMEA finance teams to implement shared services and best practices;
Manage local vs. IFRS reporting differences, prepare variance analyses, and ensure accurate accruals;
Prepare and coordinate requests for both internal and external audits;
Drive the preparation and filing of statutory accounts, working directly with auditors and stakeholders to ensure compliance;
Support the Finance Manager in handling transfer pricing documentation and statutory/tax obligations;
Provide adhoc financial analyses and support the business controlling teams on balance sheet insights.

Qualifications

About You:

Bachelor's degree in Economics, Accounting, or a related field;
5 years of accounting experience, with a solid background in tax and audit processes in a similar role within an international environment;
Strong knowledge of Belgian GAAP and IFRS reporting standards;
Proficient in ERP software;
Excellent analytical skills with hands-on financial expertise;
Organised, adaptable and capable of balancing multiple tasks;
Able to see the bigger picture while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy;
Fluent in English, with a working knowledge of Dutch being a strong asset.
