Junior Investor Relations Manager

We are looking for a Junior Investor Relations Manager who is agile, eager to learn and a good connector to join our Corporate Development, Finance & Digital Technology team, preferably based in our headquarters in Brussels, Belgium. Your main goal will be to support our company narrative and to manage our outreach activities.This is a hybrid position, allowing for a combination of onsite and remote work.
About the role
You will be responsible for managing the expectations of the capital market by developing and maintaining relationships with individual stakeholders and by providing them with consistent and accurate service on the company's strategy pipeline, financial and non-financial performance, its prospects and its key value indicators. Moreover, you will implement and manage IR digital tools to ensure UCB to run an effective program and keep Senior Management well informed.

You will collaborate with top executives and diverse teams to shape our financial and sustainability story and build meaningful relationships in the capital markets. What you’ll do
- Build and maintain comprehensive knowledge of the company and its investor and shareholder base, along with maintaining relationships with analysts;
- Manage the outreach activities, understand the market sentiment;
- Accelerate digital projects to drive digital transformation within Investor Relations and act as Digital Change Agent;
- Maintain and update appropriate documents (like investor website) in alignment with the team.
Interested?
For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skills:
- Bachelor or master’s degree in finance or related fields;
- 2+ years of experience in investor relations or as analyst (sell-side or buy-side) or portfolio manager or related roles;
- Sound knowledge of the capital market and ideally the pharma industry;
- Proficiency in utilizing data analytics tools to provide up-to-date financial information and in creating customized reports;
- Excellent Digital Skills - Proven ability to leverage advanced digital tools and technologies to drive innovative digital transformation in investor relations;
- You are stress-resistant, quick and efficient thinker and able to work in a fast-paced, busy environment;
- You have a great team spirit and high level of communication skills;
- Fluent in English, proficiency knowledge of French or Dutch are considered a plus;
- Ready to travel when it is required.
