Credit Risk Analyst - Local Public Sector

Job description
The analyst's main mission is to review and analyze the credit risk of all local public sector assets included in the portfolio, in line with the strategies defined by the Risk Department and in collaboration with all the company's other departments.
Missions
- Ensure the annual rating process for counterparties in the portfolio under his/her charge, with a focus on international public sector counterparties (Italy, Spain, Japan, UK, US and others);
- Risk monitoring and financial analysis of counterparties (local authorities, private and public satellites, etc.);
- Drafting of vintage/scoring reports and/or individual annual reviews;
- Updating quarterly reviews of sensitive files within the scope, presenting files and proposing recommendations to the Watchlist Committee;
- Sector and institutional watch (local finance news, monitoring of Finance Acts, etc.);
- Draft cross-functional sector studies, in line with sector news or company needs;
- Participate in cross-functional projects involving CEC Secteur Public Local, other Risk Departments and/or other departments within the company.
Profile
- You are a graduate of an engineering, business or finance school;
- You have initial experience in credit risk analysis, ideally in the public sector;
- You have a sound knowledge of financial and credit risk analysis;
- You have an interest in the local public sector;
- You have excellent analytical and summarizing skills;
- You have a good command of office automation tools, in particular Excel and Business Object;
- You are fluent in English. Italian and/or Spanish would be appreciated;
- You have excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as good interpersonal skills;
- You are dynamic, curious, proactive and a team player.
