Your role
As a Process Development Analyst Security, you’ll manage user access, role administration, and control access within key systems like SAP, C4S, Ariba, and more. Your work will ensure the right people have access to the right information. Beyond security, you’ll also help oversee our IT financial operations, ensuring accuracy in our financial reporting. It’s a role with impact, as you will play a crucial role in ensuring the appropriate access to applications, maintaining segregation of duties, and enforcing security policies and controls.
In this role, you will report to the IT security team lead.
Your responsibilities
- Role Design and Administration:
- You collaborate with functional teams and business stakeholders to design and implement SAP roles and authorizations ensuring security and efficiency. You will define role hierarchies, authorization objects, and user assignments – all aligned with security best practices like least-privilege access and segregation of duties.
- User Access Provisioning:
- Together with the team, you will manage the user access provisioning process, including creating user accounts and assigning roles & authorizations within SAP systems. You’ll review and approve access requests to keep processes smooth, safe, and compliant with our policies.
- Role Maintenance and Updates:
- You review and update SAP roles and authorizations regularly, to stay in sync with evolving business needs, organizational changes and compliance requirements. You evaluate segregation of duties conflicts or excessive accesses to reduce risks.
- Security Audit and Compliance:
- You support internal and external audits related to SAP authorizations and access controls. You'll provide documentation, reports and compliance measures, will discuss findings with auditors and take the necessary actions to ensure ongoing compliance.
- User Access Reviews:
- You conduct regular reviews of user access rights to ensure everything is in line with our security policies. You’ll be a key player in keeping our access controls sharp and up-to-date.
- Security Incident Response:
- When security issues arise, you’re there to help investigate and resolve incidents related to unauthorized access. You’ll work closely with the IT security team to identify root causes and prevent future incidents.
- Documentation and Training:
- You ensure up-to-date documentation of SAP role designs, authorization matrices, and access control procedures. You'll also have opportunities to develop training materials and lead sessions to help the business understand role-based security, best practices, and compliance.
- IT Administration:
- You assist in overseeing financial IT operations (including accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting) and prepare regular reports about the results and budget deviations.
Are you the one we’re looking for?
- You have a master’s or bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- You are willing to learn about IT security & authorisations on the job. Knowledge of/experience with the following is considered a plus:
- SAP security concepts, authorizations, and role administration.
- SAP security tools and technologies.
- Regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements (e.g. SOX, GDPR) related to SAP security.
- You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- You are a solution seeker in a fast and accurate manner, and you like to work in a high pace environment.
- You are well-organized and good at managing projects.
- You are able to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal, in English. French and Dutch are a plus.
