Design, refine and implement products/services in AWS & Snowflake from secure storage to processing power, purpose-based access management and general accelerators that can bring efficiency and effectiveness towards the tribe;
Work on projects related to Big Data, Data Warehousing, ML Ops, AI engineering etc.;
Abstract underlying infrastructure to enable your customer to focus on the data processing and allowing the platform team to rapidly follow new technologies without having to trigger a migration project;
Take a leading role in technology innovations and support the landing of them, together with the data architects, in the various value teams;
Coaching & mentoring other cloud data engineers by sharing best practices, guarding the technical solution & contributing to strategic decisions.

A Master or bachelor’s in computer science or related education and minimum 5 years relevant experience;
Advanced experience in a production-level data environments;
Excellent knowledge on AWS, Terraform and Python;
Excellent knowledge of EMR, EKS, Spark, Gitlab and Snowflake;
Experience with modern schedulers: Dagster, Airflow, …;
Experience with scalable API development in a challenging production environment;
Experience in a DevOps world is a plus;
The will to take end-to-end ownership is a must & the ability to get things done;
Good communication skills. You feel comfortable challenging others;
Profound English skills. Dutch skills are a plus.
