Job Description

At Netcompany-Intrasoft, we are looking for a Portfolio Manager to work for one of our biggest clients, an EU institution based in Brussels.

If selected, you will be joining a specific unit within the client responsible for building and operating solutions in the areas of Dissemination and Exploitation (D&E) of Research Results, Feedback to Policy, Research and Development Knowledge sharing and R&I Data Strategy including EU Framework Programme Data.

Your main tasks will be the following:

  • Analyze and define the policy and operational needs in the D&E (Dissemination and Exploitation) domain;
  • Monitor and review the D&E action plan, track activities against the plan;
  • Provide regular and accurate monitoring (during coordination meeting, via the D&E wiki,…etc.);
  • Prepare D&E documentation and guidance (e.g., on the wiki, programme guide,...etc.);
  • Prepare, organize and provide training, coaching and presentations on D&E;
  • Interaction with the customers, users, project leaders and the developers;
  • Organize coordination groups and/or working groups meetings (agenda, invitation, meeting organization, facilitation, draft minutes,...etc.);
  • Mailbox management: Manage Functional mailbox/Teams requests in the context of D&E and respond to messages from EU and external stakeholders (in English);
  • Implement D&E activities and develop new ones, such as Horizon Results Booster, Go-To-Market guide for beneficiaries and Innovation Radar support;
  • Participate in the D&E monitoring activities, help colleagues in data collection and analysis;
  • Act as back-up for specific D&E activities.

Qualifications

If you have:

  • 5 years of experience (overall), plus a Bachelor's degree in a related domain (ideally);
  • Portfolio, project, service and/or quality management experience;
  • Strong capacity in preparing and developing trainings, coaching and meetings;
  • Focus on the user/customer needs;
  • Knowledge of analysis/modelling/visual tools and techniques (use case diagram, state diagram, entity relationship model,...etc.);
  • Knowledge of EU and the Research and Innovation funding scheme and policy activities;
  • Ability to apply high quality standards;
  • Good knowledge of the office automation tools used in the Commission (MS-Office, M365);
  • Excellent English communication/writing skills;
  • A keen sense of teamwork, a flexible approach, strong interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Capability of working in an international/multi-cultural environment;
  • Very good communication skills (ability to grasp technical/complex concepts and communicate them to non-technical audiences).
