About the Role

Customer Interaction tribe is looking for a Pega Software Engineer LSA certification with a can-do attitude.

By joining the Customer Interactions tribe, you will be in charge of delivering an effortless and frictionless customer journey for prospects and current customers, across their interactions with Swift while increasing their autonomy! As the Customer Interaction (CI) Tribe we are on a mission to improve these end-to-end interactions and are therefore evolving our significant technology stack. Two years into our journey we are progressing with the consolidation and renewal of this technology.

What to expect:

  • Understand the business solution strategy, operate vision, business imperatives, and capabilities, and how they affect technology imperatives;
  • Design and define the specific solution processes, business and functional requirements;
  • Work with other architects and LSA to explore and define how the proposed capabilities will fit into the overall solution architecture;
  • Review deliverables within the scope of the initiatives to meet the business imperatives;
  • Manage the integration requirements across different systems in line with the defined tribe integration solution;
  • Develop, test, install and support application systems in line with product requirements;
  • Supervise and coach junior team members the development, the testing, the installation and the support of application systems in line with product requirements;
  • Create, deploy and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines ensuring the development and release of software is as seamless as possible;
  • Apply automation, monitoring and visualization across the architecture;
  • Work hand-in-hand with developers and testers to ensure code deploys and operates to the highest quality standards;
  • Analyze problems, develop and propose solutions to more senior team members;
  • Prepare and study the technical feasibility and estimates of the proposed systems solutions;
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, prepare and give presentations to other team members, management and customers;
  • Provide timing/scheduling estimates to product owner and propose corrective actions to timelines when necessary;
  • Demonstrate customer centricity by working closely together with the internal customer;
  • Organize efficient handover through high quality documentation and training;
  • Collaborate with other engineers to innovate and implement the components of the design system.

What will make you successful

  • University degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent work experience;
  • 10-15 years of IT development experience;
  • Pega LSA certification with strong exposure to on-premises implementation;
  • High and practical exposure to Pega 8.8 version and features is a must;
  • Proficient in Java, experience in development of multi-tier applications using JAVA and Tomcat is an asset;
  • Solid understanding of Web technologies including HTML, CSS, AJAX, Web Services, SOAP, REST, Apache Tomcat and Apache HTTP Server;
  • Practical experience of Linux OS (RedHat Enterprise Linux);
  • Oracle and database expertise including SQL and schema administration;
  • Strong Pega security exposure and security mindset;
  • Knowledge in DevOps and experience in branching strategies, continuous integration, testing, deployment, and monitoring. In an Agile environment that require a high degree of scalability and reliability;
  • Team player, ability to collaborate with teams operating in other time-zones (Europe and APAC);
  • Excellent written and verbal (English) communications, strong interpersonal skills and customer centric attitude;
  • Analytical with very good troubleshooting skills in understanding very complex situations and dependencies;
  • Eager to learn and to stay up to date with the latest technologies.
