Job purpose

Purpose of the job is to support the EMEA Regional Treasury Team on their task to “Drive towards a Dan Totsu Treasury Function contributing to enterprise strategy and value creation by managing financial and ESG risks, providing optimized funding structures and efficiently managing and allocating cash”. More specifically the function is targeting to:

  • Maintain the Global Leadership in the field of ESG Finance and Reporting;
  • Leverage new technologies to gain productivity and keep the company safe and compliant;
  • Provide optimized funding solutions both internally and externally;
  • Excell in Treasury Operations;
  • Study Further Business Support Opportunities;

Job Responsibilities

Your person’s responsibilities will include, amongst other things:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact and support for retail finance operations and mobility solutions, managing banking relationships and addressing business requirements;
  • Handle KYC requirements for Bridgestone (BS) EMEA, coordinating with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely compliance and KYC procedures with banks;
  • Administer and optimize the use of the MITIGRAM platform for trade finance needs;
  • Oversee the issuance, amendment, and extension of bank guarantees for BS EMEA, and manage the end-to-end rebilling process;
  • Support Treasurer with preparing business insights on bank charges, ratings of the banks and propose solutions around it;
  • Participate as a project team member to continuously improve Treasury Operations by e.g.:
    • Further leveraging the Global Treasury Management System in EMEA;
    • Building robust Power BI Reporting on Treasury KPIs.
  • Perform general back-office Treasury tasks, including cash position management, FX deal calculations, and other TMS-related activities;
  • Collaborate with Treasury team to enforce the adherence of established Treasury policies across the organization.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in English and French;
  • Proficiency in Dutch is a plus;
  • Strong ability to develop initial positions/views to complex problems on their own;
  • Ability to work independently at times as well as closely and successfully with professionals of different backgrounds and cultures;
  • Strong time management and organization skills with the ability to manage a number of projects at any one time and deliver on commitments;
  • Strong personal ownership of projects and their outcomes;
  • An ability to work as part of a dynamic team to collaboratively solve complex problems innovatively;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) with the ability to interact well with people of various backgrounds and levels;
  • A positive, energetic, fun and happy attitude;
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Powerpoint;
  • Any experience in corporate treasury, financial services or related field considered positively;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. Master’s or close to finished Master’s degree desirable.
