Description

We currently have a vacancy for a Database Developer (Oracle) fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Geel, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Your tasks

Provide on-request support to the users of the information systems and support during the deployment of new releases of applications;
Implement minor technical and functional enhancements to applications or add new business functionality in order to satisfy new or changed business needs;
Analyze the needs of an organization and produce an effective database system according to their needs and specifications;
Troubleshooting any potential problems, creating and submitting test reports and database improvement and develop database documentation.

Requirements

University degree, combined with relevant professional experience of more than 13 years;
Excellent knowledge and skills in Oracle PL/SQL development and the use of Oracle and development tools (TOAD);
Working experience of at least 2 years with Oracle PL/SQL development;
Experience working in international environment and excellent communication skills;
Excellent command of the English language.
