Now, for our growing Marketing Team, we are looking for a B2B Brand Marketing Manager. If you are someone who can think broadly but also knows how to sweat the details and execute, someone who is known for being innovative, someone who can work with multi-disciplinary teams, and someone who has good creative instincts then we’ve got a great role for you.

As the B2B Brand Marketing Manager you will be responsible for executing Aion’s overall brand communications and content strategies across a variety of full funnel media choices and consumer touch points both offline, online, in-product and in-branch. You will leverage brand marketing as a tool to strengthen Aion’s position in the market and drive membership/subscriber growth, specifically for our newly launched Business offering for small to medium enterprises (SMEs) and sole traders (self-employed). You will work with our agency resources to drive world-class marketing communications. You will use the Test/Learn/Iterate model of creative development and communications, which means you will lead with creativity, but confirm it with a scientific process to ensure success. Working with your manager, the Director, Brand Marketing and your peers in Product, UX, Digital Marketing and Market Research you will be responsible for executing the overall brand marketing plans. While you will bring passion for great advertising and brand building, no idea is too precious that it cannot be challenged, tested and molded to fit in with business practicalities and financial industry regulations.

What will you do

  • You will execute the brand marketing/advertising plans for our B2B offering, and work in tandem with our B2C brand manager to ensure that the brand is consistently expressed across all touch points;
  • You’re polished yet scrappy, entrepreneurial self-starter who can oversee multiple projects at a time and drive them to completion effectively in a high energy, dynamic company environment;
  • You will work with external agencies to deliver the best performance across all marketing channels;
  • You will serve as a bridge and ambassador between Marketing and Product, especially with our SME team;
  • You will executes the vision for the brand and serves as a passionate advocate for the brand throughout the company;
  • You will partner with all enterprise stakeholders to build go to market strategies that drive growth;
  • You will develop a clear, comprehensive and easy to use brand and message guide for the company;
  • You will take ownership over brand guidelines and collaborating with the design and copy teams in having these implemented across all communication channels
  • You will identify, interpret, and capitalize on marketing and consumer trends;
  • You will be a customer champion, ensuring the voice of the customer is represented in all we do.

Who are we looking for

  • You have 8+ years in DTC marketing, with a recent focus on performance or growth marketing, customer experience, and strategy (client- or ad agency-side);
  • You have worked in small, nimble environments with limited people and resources. Start-up experience is great but not a must have;
  • While no banking or fin-tech experience is necessary, consumer facing regulated business experience is a definite plus;
  • You are a strong creative thinker with exceptional writing skills. You have the ability to convey complex ideas through storytelling;
  • You have experience working across the full marketing funnel (customer acquisition, conversion, and engagement) and across the marketing mix including online and offline channels;
  • You have experience working with and motivating external and internal partners;
  • You are a great communicator and excellent story-teller;
  • You are flexible and open to change and new ideas;
  • You are highly organized self-starter, with a data-driven mentality and a bias towards action;
  • You are experienced developing brand platforms, including positioning, messaging, purpose, promise, value propositions, etc.;
  • You have an upbeat, can-do attitude to take on whatever challenge is thrown your way;
  • You are proficient in English language, additional EU languages are nice to have (French, Dutch, German, Italian or Spanish are definite plus).
