POLITICO is looking for an entrepreneurial, results-oriented salesperson to join our dynamic and growing Advertising Sales team. The position is based in POLITICO Europe HQ in Brussels. POLITICO is a pioneering and growing media company that covers the politics, policy and personalities of the European Union.
The Account Director position is a sales position with the primary objective of identifying new ways of working with clients to improve offerings and optimize campaigns while actively developing business.
We seek an experienced, talented and smart candidate who works proactively to achieve business objectives while maintaining a culture of collaboration, development and achievement. We are looking for someone with strong integrated media communications planning experience, with best in class account and client handling, and the ability to manage multiple internal stakeholders in a cross disciplinary team.
The successful candidate will have a good understanding of account handling, confident communicator both internally and externally to clients and agencies and have a thorough understanding of public affairs and corporate communications. A major part of the role will be challenging the client to think in new ways in terms of delivering business needs and answering briefs with a focus on all aspects of media. This role is a great opportunity for an individual looking to grow and establish strong client relationships and campaign management skills.
