Reporting into the Senior Director, Head of Meetings and Events EMEA, the Manager Meetings & Events in our corporate head offices in Brussels will be responsible for the following areas:

  • Support in business analysis, strategic/tactical planning and execution, via a consistent delivery of related processes and procedures, analysis, strategical planning and execution while ensuring Radisson Meetings commitments: personal, professional and memorable;
  • Drive M&E and Group Reservation training plans in cooperation with the different Area Director Meetings & Events, development and coaching needs to ensure individuals maximize their full potential and drive the company’s succession and people development plan;
  • Drive Data Quality ensuring the correct working with several systems on hotel level and actively reviews Opera/PMS or equivalent S&C Systems standards of entry and data analysis to support the strategy of the company;
  • Make sure all parts of Radisson Meetings brand standards are in place and monitored from the M&E office perspective. Liaises with the Operational leads on Operational M&E Brand Standards;
  • Reviewing on-property test call results and ensures plans are in place to deliver proper coaching and development in cooperation with the different Area Director Meetings & Events;
  • Ensures relevant SOPs are in place for M&E Departments, reviews and suggests changes and supports implementation of new SOP’s;
  • Support upselling/cross selling training module, ensures delivery and evaluation in cooperation with the different Area Director Meetings & Events;
  • Works with on-property teams to improve conversion of all booking inquiries;
  • Drive monitoring market share performances (where available) and recommends action where required in cooperation with the different Area Director Meetings & Events;
  • Work with the Area Marketing team to provide input and recommendations on marketing activities and ensure the activities are appropriately targeted and performance assessed to meet the gaps in the business;
  • Work closely with Area Sales team to provide input and recommendations on sales activities and ensure the activities are appropriately targeted and performance assessed;
  • Support budget process and budget input in cooperation with the other Area Support Office team members;
  • Drive the “M&E Property Review/health check” in each property, ensure all recommendations are implemented & follow up in cooperation with the different Area Director Meetings & Events;
  • Creates the relevant training and support for the hotels to deliver a pro-active sales culture within the office to ensure all budgeted revenues are achieved in cooperation with the different Area Director Meetings & Events.

Requirements:

  • Relevant background suggests Bachelor or Master degree in Hospitality, Business Administration or similar;
  • At least 2-4 years of experience in the Meeting & Events area within hotel environment;
  • Excellent Excel knowledge;
  • Fluency in English is a must;
  • Availability to travel at international level approx. 30% of the time.
