OVERVIEW:

In this position you will develop and implement, in conjunction with the Sales & Product Marketing team, the EMEA commercial plans for the nominated customer segments to achieve market share, sales and profit targets. From channel-dedicated tools to event, digital and content marketing tactics, you know how to optimize the marketing mix to maximize qualitative lead acquisition, foster customer retention and advance brand building.

REQUIREMENTS:

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years B2B or B2C marketing experience in a multilingual environment.

Education:

  • Master degree in Marketing, Economics, Business or equal through experience.

Skills:

  • Digital marketing, Content marketing, Event marketing, Channel marketing, Analytical marketing;
  • Strong problem solving ability, prioritizing the customer experience;
  • Affinity with technical products;
  • People manager;
  • Fluent in English, strong preference for French and German, any other language is an asset;
  • PC literate: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, CRM, Marketing Automation, Analytics, SEO/SEA, Social Media;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Availability for business travel to meet customers and collect market knowledge (30%).

CHARACTERISTICS:

Being in contact with customers and the sales force, you show commercial insight and understand the implications of business agreements. You use your excellent communication skills to build relationships with the sales force, product marketing, internal departments, US counterparts as well as with distributors and end users. In this role you show excellent leadership skills. You know how to coach, motivate and engage your team. You are a team-player who enjoys collaborating with others, but also have the ability to manage projects in an independent way.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build and implement a customer/channel marketing strategy in line with sales, profit and market share targets;
  • Develop business cases for marketing programs at the proposal stage and make recommendations on marketing tactics;
  • Develop marketing tools to increase the demand at the distributor level by providing customer based value creation plans;
  • Develop customer centric digital, content and event marketing programs to increase quality lead generation across all stages in the customer journey;
  • Be accountable for your KPI’s - evaluate the impact of marketing programs on the business objectives and define corrective actions when needed;
  • Lead and monitor the execution of all marketing tactics, across all stakeholders, in line with company policies and expectations, in the office as well as in the field;
  • Propose and manage marketing research projects to generate customer insights in support of improved marketing strategy and communications;
  • Commission work from approved agencies and suppliers to carry out tasks within pre-agreed budget and specifications;
  • Manage the budget in the best interest of the company;
  • Ensure a consistent corporate image in line with the branding guidelines across all types of deliverables.
