Job Description

The position is to support the New Product Introduction Director in the liaison with the Sterile Business Development team and the site Operations, to manage existing customer portfolio and develop commercial proposals for new development and business opportunities.

The Role:

  • Coordinate the creation of the quotations for new development and commercial opportunities at the site level i.e.:
    • Coordinate on a weekly basis the cross functional quotation team;
    • Participate the internal G1 reviews in GC with BD;
    • Develop quotation proposals based on customer RFQ with the help of the site main stakeholders (NPI, operations, engineering, supply chain, QA, finance);
    • Support business Development in the quotation proposal review with clients;
    • Support BD in the review of GATE 0-2 reviews;
    • Work with finance and PM team to maintain a cost book updated with the actual standard pricing.
  • Support the creation of QAR’s (Quote amendment requests) on existing contracts with the commercial and PM team:
    • Administratively generate QAR numbers;
    • Work with finance and PM team to maintain a QAR cost book updated with the actual standard pricing;
    • Review and drive action on a bi-weekly funnel review of open QAR’s.
  • Support and consolidate commercial, supply and QA agreements reviews between the contracting team, BD and the site teams;
  • Construct and execute the contract maintenance calendar:
    • Develop a task execution calendar of the contracts with Finance, contracting, BD and SC;
    • Execute the calendar regarding invoicing, price increases, KPI’s, fcst, renewals …..etc.
  • Coordinate and support customer meetings, BRM/QMR as well as customer review meetings:
    • Co-ordinate the agenda for BRM meetings, consolidate site/customer presentations in a timely fashion;
    • Lead customer portfolio review meetings with the site leadership team to review customer temperature, health of the program, contract issues, paiement terms, QA or SC related issues;
    • Customer facing through TC’s and F2F meetings, re-inforcing the relationship.

The Candidate:

  • University Degree (Commercial or scientific orientation);
  • Relevant experience in a fast paced environment preferably in the following industries (Pharmaceuticals, Chemicals, consumer Goods, Food, Automotive …);
  • Minimum 5 years of technical and/or commercial and/or business experience with a strong focus on the customer and a clear results driven commitment;
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills: able to pick issues quickly and make sense of/see patterns in diverse sources of information;
  • Possesses the personal qualities required to create and build long-term and trustful relationships with site stakeholders, peers and clients;
  • Understanding and application of financial principles to develop quotation proposal;
  • Project management skills;
  • Good business acumen and willingness to develop further necessary skills to move to the next level of competency;
  • Organizational skills – disciplined - structured;
  • Flexible;
  • Autonomous;
  • Motivated and willing to go always a step forward;
  • Fluent in English and French (mandatory).
