The Finance Business Partner controls and optimizes the utilization of Finance resources in order to ensure that the organization's short- and long-term business objectives are achieved. The role is both operational and strategic. The Finance Business partner reports to the VP, S&D EMEA and he is part of the EMEA S&D Management Team.

As the main Finance interface of the business, she/he supports and advises the EMEA Specialties & Decorations management team in operational decision-making processes within the assigned strategic business framework. She/ he proactively provides insights on business opportunities and risks as well as the respective financial impact to management and the Finance Business Partnering Director. This role supports business initiatives aimed at improving operational and financial performance.

Specialties & Decorations (S&D) being the fast growing business, the Finance Business Partner also identifies and implements growth opportunities within the business scope, aiming at long-term value from the portfolio, customers, and other relationships. She / he provides insight to and advises management on achieving the business’ strategic targets as well as maximizing value, performing a range of analytics to build and evaluate business cases. She / he proactively develops and drives initiatives to enhance financial performance. She /he readily interacts with various counterparts throughout the organization, manages teams on a project basis, and promotes cross-functional teamwork to engage the requisite resources. She / he supports and monitors growth opportunities, both in the development as well as execution phases. She / he acts as sparring partner to Finance and management, providing advice as well as guidance on complex activities and critical issues.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or similar;
  • English business proficiency (written and spoken);
  • Experience minimum 5 years in finance;
  • Experience in a multinational company, preferably in B2B/food industries.
