As our new Business Analyst Commercial, you will be part of the IT Commercial team that manages the Esko SalesForce platform and delivers solutions for the Marketing, Sales and Customer service departments;
As a business analyst you act as a liaison between business and IT, you describe business processes and requirements, analyse the possible solutions and convert them to an end to end functional design.
Main responsibilities and key activities:
You pro-actively build and document business process knowledge in the Marketing, Sales and Service domain;
You challenge & translate the business needs into business requirements that are in line with business processes and systems capabilities & guidelines;
You analyse and define the optimal solution taking the business objectives and the technical constraints into account, thereby liaising with your business stakeholders and the IT application experts;
You describe the functional specifications for both the SalesForce platform and the integrations with other systems and present your solutions to the business stakeholders;
You define the test strategy and describes the acceptance criteria related to the business requirements;
You commit on the priorities and timelines for tasks related to projects and changes as discussed with the business stakeholders and the project teams;
In addition, you provide hands-on, expert-level functional assistance and 3rd line support to our business key users and/or external partners.
You have a degree and about 3 years of experience in IT or business function, with a proven functional knowledge of the Salesforce product suite including Sales Cloud & Service Cloud;
You have a good knowledge of Marketing, Sales and service processes;
You have experience in process design using BPMN as a process modelling standard;
You have experience in business requirements gathering using proven techniques (user stories, use cases, …);
You have configuration experience using the Salesforce point-and-click developer interface;
Functional knowledge of ServiceMax is an advantage;
You have a proactive attitude, i.e. ‘avoid’ rather than ‘react’;
You have excellent communication skills in English;
You have the ability to communicate solutions clearly and effectively both orally and in writing;
You are able to commit and deliver work based on well-established priorities;
You are able to sell and present ideas;
You are structured;
