Remote Commerce Solutions Commercialization Product Manager

E-commerce is key priority for Mastercard. The Remote Commerce Solutions Commercialization team has overall accountability over assessing the business opportunity in various markets, supporting the definition of go-to-market plans, managing customer/partner pipeline, developing sales materials and other documentation, and optimizing products and resources to quickly achieve scale of Mastercard’s digital commerce solutions.

The role sits within the European Digital Commerce Solutions team, reporting to the manager having overall responsibility for Remote Commerce Solutions Commercialization.

Responsibilities

  • The main focus for the role will be to support the go to market plan for MDES Lite, a new Mastercard digital solution for issuing banks (providing a tokenization solution on-behalf-of issuers):
    • Participate in business planning for the product;
    • Finalize the legal framework;
    • Analyze the competitive situation;
    • Work with technical teams to implement a pilot with 1-2 European issuers;
    • Participate in go-to-market planning for MDES Lite.
  • The second priority for the role will be to develop an enforcement process for a Mastercard program requirement in relation to the MDES for merchants (card-on-file tokenization) solution:
    • Working with the Mastercard Franchise Department, Product Delivery Department and in market Digital Payment managers, the person will need to define a process to enforce the already existing program requirement and get it approved internally;
    • Additionally, the candidate will need to define a monitoring process and get it approved internally.

Experience

  • Bachelors or Masters degree;
  • Some experience in product management;
  • Experience working on new product launches across multiple markets and defining go to market plans is an advantage;
  • Understanding of the payments industry, knowledge of digital payments is an advantage;
  • Innovative, ambitious, driven, proactive, high achiever;
  • Proficient with numbers, commercial models, metrics, presentations;
  • Able to work in a complex multi-functional and international environment;
  • Team player.
