As part of the Requirement Engineering (RE) team within Strategic Architecture department, you will contribute to a number of key activities, initially in the area of Business Applications/MIs:
With as main input Customer Requirement Specifications and in close collaboration with the Architecture team, you will be responsible to define and analyse the functional and non functional requirements for products in your scope;
You will actively engage with key stakeholders (Product Management, Development, PAC, Support, Operations) to ensure that the functional and non functional requirements are in line with internal or external customer expectations;
You will closely work with the development team(s) during the development of the product/solution;
You will ensure a consistent User Experience across the different products and solutions;
You will prepare and conduct requirement workshops, walkthrough, critical review and presentations on system enhancements and/or alternatives;
You will contribute to the continuous improvement on how to have maximum effectiveness in a changing, agile, environment.
University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; or equivalent work experience. Master degree an asset;
5+ years of IT requirement engineering experience is required, with additionally experience in software development, design or architecture of software systems preferred; or equally through work experience in a technical writing, software development or support type of environment;
Ability to self-learn in fast paced technical environment Good experience in formal structured software engineering methodologies such as Agile/scrum or similar, with knowledge of Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence) preferred; alternatively, knowledge of tools such as Quality Center or experience in using other repository-based tools Knowledge of (financial) messaging platforms; knowledge of SWIFT products and services desired;
Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills, with excellent English, both written and spoken Strong collaboration mind-set.
