Your function

The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing and pricing reinsurance treaties, supporting the development and enhancement of actuarial pricing models and providing support to the underwriting teams in Brussels.

As a pricing modeller, you will:

Assist in pricing reinsurance contracts;
Provide pricing support to the underwriting teams;
Collaborate with actuaries, underwriters and other departments on projects;
Collect client and market data to perform pricing studies;
Support the development and maintenance of pricing tools.

Your profile

University degree in international business economics or a related field;
Good analytical and communication skills, attention to detail;
Strong team player and entrepreneurial mindset;
Able to manage and meet deadlines and work under time pressure during renewals;
Knowledge of one programming language such as VBA, R, Python, SQL is a plus;
Fluent in English, a second language a plus (Dutch/German/French/Spanish/Italian);
First professional experience in re/insurance welcome.
