Define the vision for the assigned product/portfolio and understand how products fit in the ecosystem, against the competition, with the users/customer’s needs. Accountable for the product roadmap throughout a product life cycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements. Identify product opportunities, develop business case that evaluate those opportunities, and then establish a plan with the whole EVS organization (strategy, marketing, sales, R&D, documentation, training, production, projects, support) to deliver quality products, creating projected revenues and ensuring customer satisfaction, in line with global strategy. The Product Manager collaborates with a Product Owner following SCRUM methodology.

Job Description

  • Define and develop the core positioning, the vision and the transversal implementation of the product or portfolio
  • Performs the Market & Competitive Analysis
  • Accountable for product roadmap definition in line with the overall portfolio strategy
  • Accountable to manage & coordinate the product throughout all stages of its lifecycle (concept review, market launch and end of sales)
  • Manages the release process with the other departments: Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, Production, Support…
  • Responsible for Backlog definition (as defined in the SCRUM methodology), ordering and refinement at Enhancement level
  • Propose and define pricing strategy for the assigned product/portfolio/segment
  • Coordinates internal trainings and certification programs with the training department
  • Intervenes as subject matter expert with regard to products
  • Frequent communication with customers in coordination with Sales and Pre-Sales teams
  • Represents the voice of the user/customer for all EVS internal departments
  • Act as products’ advocate and evangelist towards Sales & Operations


  • 10 years product management experience
  • deep understanding of high technology with the ability to understand the details
  • experience in the video and/or broadcast/media industry is a strong asset
  • business minded and focused on delivering to customers
  • excellent presentation skills with the ability to convince customers
  • experience practicing the SCRUM methodology is an asset
  • Fluent in French and in English
  • Willingness to travel
