Senior Accounting Officer

Your responsibilities:

  • Responsible for accounting for assigned subsidiaries of the Wallenborn Group;
  • Prepare monthly cash flow and expenditures forecasts;
  • Review and approve payment vouchers and journal entries;
  • Resolve accounting discrepancies;
  • Prepare monthly profit and loss statements;
  • Analyse data and prepare relevant Business Intelligence reports with a goal of finding new ways to improve overall revenues as well as decrease expenditures;
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to help them analyse their costs and margins;
  • Ensure best practices are in place for maintaining financial records by creating policies and inspecting accounting records and systems;
  • Ensure that financial and accounting records are compliant with local and federal government agency requirements;
  • Ensure that all tax and legal requirements are met and that adequate controls are in place in this regard;
  • Assist with audits and act as liaison with auditors;
  • Prepare end of year tax returns and financial statements.

Your qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Accounting;
  • At least 5 years of experience at an international company, a fiduciary or an audit company;
  • Knowledge on how to operate with numerous European GAAPS;
  • Knowledge of corporate tax rules;
  • Experience working in a fast paced, multicultural and international environment;
  • Experience working in multiple foreign countries;
  • Languages: French is mandatory. German, English and any other language would be a strong asset
